Socila justice Choice or Necessity? By Collen Swain and Davis Edyburn

The article explore the social justice implications of instructional technology and provide educators with a framework for understanding the effects of their decision in using instructional technology in the classroom. new resources continue to become available to educators, so it is important to evaluate each resource in terms of how it allows students to learn the concept deeply, enhances higher-order thinking opportunities and furthers future workplace opportunities.

Once at eacher has adopted technology in the classroom, what does a teacher need to consider in terms of approaching the students?
A teacher has to reflect on what went well/ wrong after the technology was used in the lesson plan, monitor activities, find out what students do and do not have computer at home or internet access and then suggests reasonable places where they can go and have access to them. In this way the teacher will make sure he is including all his students.

How can teachers may contribute for the implementation of technology in the classrooms?
Teachers may influence the gap in technology divide if they demonstrate how technology can be a component for instruction. teachers can prepare students for a exciting and unlimited future, they can use technology to learn and demonstrate their learning in new and fascinated ways.

Virtual Schooling includes all the elements associated with learning in an online environment. Online teachers and students act as participants. V.S. includes inrastructure with required technology, technical, and pedagogical supportstaff and administrators. There exists multiple technologies to create a series of activities, for example: WebCT learning management software, videoconferencing, self-study including using resources from the web. The teacher must be actively involved in monitoring and engaging students in discussion and self study, clarifying instructions, and providion multiple activities for engagement through multiple media to achieve course objectives.

What is the role of the site facilitator? they start with advising each student on the selection of VS courses, they help students focus their attention on corse related tasks to promote engagement and commitment to learning as they mentor and monitor student progress.

How can there be awarness among teachers for VS? there is a way on how teachers can start realizing the greta demand on VS; 1. delineating new roles and 2. responsabilities. these also help them to understand how teaching roles and responsabilities are likely to change in response to the needs of their digital native students.
